a rich heritage of highly

acclaimed drama productions.

The award winning drama series Rownd a Rownd (S4C) is currently in its 24th season, having celebrated its 1,000th episode in January 2014, the KidScreen nominated series is now an established cornerstone of the S4C schedule. The Indian Doctor (BBC One/ international distribution by Content Media) also an award winning drama starring Sanjeev Bhaskar as a highly educated Indian Doctor, who, attracted by the promise of opportunities in the new NHS and a glamorous lifestyle in 1960’s London, finds himself in a practice in a Welsh coal mining village.

The Gospel of Us, a film adaption of the ground-breaking theatre event starring Michael Sheen takes inspiration from one of the defining narratives of our times. This contemporary re-telling of the Passion took place across the town of Port Talbot, with local people as its cast, crew and heroes. Gwlad yr Astra Gwyn(S4C), the Celtic Media Festival award winner is set entirely within a taxi, creating an entire “world” inside a cab where the transience of Saturday night is portrayed by the fleeting and interlaced appearances of a myriad of characters led by gullible taxi driver Trefor.
