Our award-winning factual department at Rondo is built on a passion for telling powerful stories. We are the proud producers of the landmark returning series Stori’r Iaith (S4C), a BAFTA Cymru award-winning documentary series that explores the rich history of the Welsh language through well-known personalities.

The team is also behind another returning series, the international documentary Y Wal / The Wall, co-produced by S4C, TG4, and BBC ALBA, with support from Creative Wales and distributed by Cineflix.

Rondo is also responsible for the popular series Cynefin (S4C), which delves into the unique local histories of communities across Wales, and Dechrau Canu Dechrau Canmol (S4C), our much-loved faith series combining inspiring stories, congregational singing, and musical performances.

Rondo’s acclaimed single documentaries include: Siân Phillips at 90 (BBC/S4C), winner Best Arts Programme at the Celtic Media Festival 2025, as well as Best Director and the Women’s Category at the Cannes World Film Festival 2025; Don’t Say Gay (S4C), winner Best History Programme at the Celtic Media Festival 2025; Legends of Welsh Sport: Nicky Grist (BBC); Seren Jones: Alive in the Water (S4C), winner Presenter of the Year at the RTS Awards 2026; Two Sisters: One Goal (BBC); and Karl Jenkins: The Man Behind the Moustache (BBC).
