Wales lost one of its true musical greats in 2025 – the Cilfynydd born tenor Stuart Burrows. His international career took him to the Metropolitan Opera in New York, La Scala Milan, Vienna State Opera, Covent Garden and many other opera stages. He shone most in Mozart with a lyrical, seamless voice.
